I have made three of these spirals. 2 on oil drum lids and one on another piece of circular metal with a definite edge. I like to leave sections unpainted to keep a hint of what it used to look like. I have added a center piece to each. One was an old bell, another section of a gear of sorts. In this one, I added a piece I found in Kommetjie in South Africa.
