The base is a rectangle of 20cm rusted metal with a complicated screw mechanism on the corners. Putting in a wooden base proved tricky as the sides are not straight, but rather bulge in the middle. I found the ‘wheel’in Kommetjie, South Africa and loved the colours in the rust. The photos are both own and sourced
