On a weathered piece of wood, using metals in various colours of rust, I created the ‘ancestral gathering’. The figures all have odd shaped heads, lending to the idea of unknown ancestors without personalities attached. Some are draped in blankets, others carrying sticks. The title is burnt into the wood. Definitely one of my favourite pieces.
